What is Brain Jogging?


What is the difference in a person who learns more efficiently, listens more attentively and speaks more eloquently than others? He or she could be Brain Jogging! Neurogenesis (the building of new neurons) is the difference and the underpinnings of Brain Jogging is the enhancement of neurogenesis. That person’s brain has improved brain cognition and neuronal plasticity!

Although neurogenesis is seen as a natural phenomenon, unfortunately, it diminishes with age, certain illnesses and learning disorders. A healthy brain has established enhanced neurogenesis which is essential for life long learning, maintaining memory, and stabilizing moods throughout life. Without the continuous birth, maturation and communication of new neurons, complete thoughts and functions of the brain are impaired.
