Individualized Instruction
We believe each student is unique. There is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to learning. And every disability has a phenomenal ability! Individualized instruction for each student is designed to:
- Build mental ability to process information efficiently and proficiently for studying
- Increase levels of academic achievement
- Provide the confidence boost required to bring out fullest potential
- Before starting the instructional sessions, Camp Academia holds parent and/or teacher conferences to ensure that the student's strengths and weaknesses are fully understood. Camp Academia also makes recommendations for enhancing the student's learning experience. Our experts create and implement an Individual Educational Program (IEP) to target the student’s individual needs.
- Each instructional session pairs your student with one of our experienced staff members to work on cognitive skills, processing skills, academics, self-esteem and motivation.
- To quantify the progress that’s being made, Camp Academia conducts an annual review of the student's progress, including any additional testing that needs to be made.
